Pro-Athletes

Larn Baldwin

After taking 2nd overall in the 2018 Amateur category of the UK’s DMR Dirt Wars FMB Bronze National Series, including a first-place podium at Freddy’s Yard, Larn continues to push his limits in his pursuit for pro-category glory in the 2021 season.

Based out of Hemel Hempstead UK, the 19 year-old carpenter has battled back from injury during the 2019 season to take a 2nd and 4th in the limited events held during the 2020 season to finish 3rd overall.

His time off the bike in 2019 enabled him to develop and build his own riding spot near his home, where he spends some of his time growing his bag of tricks.

With the backing of local business Emtrex garms, Freeride UK are proud to also be backing him with parts from Title MTB, in his next riding chapter.

Sam Berry

Based out of Cornwall UK, 19 year old Sam Berry has had an ideal local winter downhill racing series in 2019/2020, managing podium results in most of his events.

In 2020 the South Wales University student made his debut in the Dirt Wars series, achieving a 5th place finish at the Wisley trails round. In his time off the bike, Sam has helped rebuild and maintain his local enduro and downhill trails while also digging at the local bike park, The Track Portreath, who he also rides for.

He spends the rest of his time working in his local bike shop and studying for his degree in Strength & Conditioning at the University of South Wales.

Riding for his local bike shop, Cranked Bikes, in addition to support from both The Track Portreath and Magicshine UK, Freeride UK are stoked to welcome him to the team and support him through the next chapter of his riding.
